Description

This position is a diverse one. The main focus would be back-up for the lead accounting/book keeping person. Since the finance roll is mainly a back -up roll, this position will have everyday responsibilities in a variety of different areas which include: Inside Sales, Purchasing and other general office work.

Since this position is involved in a wide array of responsibilities it is important to find an open minded person who is interested in not only the finance roll. This position demands a team approach by working cross functionally with the departments to deliver customer satisfaction & meet internal standards and goals.

Reports to:

  • President

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Main – Accountings – Basic level – Back up to Accountant.
  • Purchasing – Basic knowledge.
  • Inside sales – Basic level.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 year min. proven actual work experience in accounting.
  • Education: Must – book keeping/accountant certification & high school graduate.
  • Detail oriented with problem solving abilities, Punctual and strong work ethic
  • Commute: up to 35 min, self-transportation.
  • Computer skills to include an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) along with ability to adapt to internal ERP
  • Multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team approach.
  • Energetic, caring with positive attitude.
